Flexeril

I broke my back as a child (I am now 32) and have had two back surgeries and I have been visiting doctors my whole life. I rarely take any medications but I recently had a severe set
back. My job requires me to travel and work frequently. My back doctor prescribed me flexeril for the first time. The flexeril was probably one of the most effective medications I have ever used. I had two side effects which were severe dry mouth and a mild case of depression. I had never taken a drug which made me feel so down. The drugs effectiveness out weighed the side effects.

Took Flexeril on a Wednesday Night, could not get up for work on Thursday, very tired, went to work on Friday, still feeling not quite right, took a nap after work, woke up the same night and had a severe case of Vertigo, hospitalized on Saturday for 3 days.

I was taking Flexeril after I was diagnosed with a rib contusion following heavy lifting.  I am taking Lexapro, Adderall and Trazadone already for A.D.D. depression and sleep deprivation.  The Flexeril made me extremely tired, irritable, so much so that after a 24 hour period, I was nearly suicidal, possibly homicidal.  I threw the medication away after reoccuring this feeling several times.
