Flixotide

i have been on flixatide for many years and i think im just realising that this could be causing my anxiety which bcomes very bad from time to time

My Cat is Asthmathtic, he has been prescribed Flixotide 250mg 2 x puffs per day through an Areochamber, however I have noticed that he has become slightly nervous but the posive news is that his lungs are clear.

I have just found an article to say GSK-manufacturer of Flixotide, are finally being called to explain their producing/marketing of drugs. They are to settle multiple civil and criminal investigations. US$3.8b payout. Justice dept. to probe into possible Medicaid reimbursement fraud. I hated the hypocrisy of legal against illegal drugs. Now perhaps more care. #5239612-4 is found by continuing to scroll down......I am however not just a number, I am human, therefore have rights. Perhaps now MY voice will be heard - loud;instead of a silent scream.

A journalist wrote.....'the enormous harm the legal killers cause each day'; in his article on alcohol versus illegal drugs.
Flixotide was not legal early 2000; it was too potent with dose inconsistencies (WHO).
I am # 5239612-4; yet our Minister of Health denies this and says no CSS cases in NZ.
- then over 8,000 had suffered adverse reactions, now?
My NZ experience has been one of denial and lies. Prescribing date changed, told to walk on to another medical center with chest pains. Told bloods ok but when I requested them Trop.T registering and now ANA positive, 320 speckled- SLE and overlap; CSS? ( a rare side-effect of Flixotide).
No doctor or specialist will give firm diagnosis so I have had no support or medical care. I use Krushen Salts, ST John's Wart, Arnica rub and over counter anti-inflams. I survive with stubborn faith and hope that one day some-one will show some compassion. I have given up on compensation.

I have been using flixotide for about a year now, is this bad? From what is posted on this page I see many problems with it, should I be worried? The only thing i have seen is that I have a tall family, and im the only one with asthma, I am allot smaller than all my sibling at my age and have always been. Is this true?

my 11 year old son has been using flixotide for nearly 5 years now. He has puffed up, suffers from insomnia, is agitated, irritable, has gained so much weight it is not funny and i can see he is more anxious than a few years back. His weight gain has affected his self esteem and his daily performance. I have asked my ex husband, can we please try something natural, I know there are exercises you can train them to do, breathing exercises and eliminating dairy and wheat from his diet would also help but he wont have it, he has been brainwashed by doctors who still tell him that there is no way a child would put on weight because of flixotide and one of these doctors even told him that there is no need to wash his mouth after using it...
This makes me so angry and Doctors and pharmaceutical companies, they are the worst mafia around!

My son 3 years of age has been using flixotide since May 2010 and steadily has become hyperactive, destructive, psyhotic and together with cortisone anxious and has hallusinations.  I am stopping with all his astma meds.

10 years ago I was prescribed Flixotide.  I never put the two together until recently after being pain free for about 9 months, only to have it return severely within two days of taking the medication.  It took me another week to realise what the problem may be and stop taking Flixotide.  I have not taken it for two weeks now and can get thru the day without pain meds.  I still need paracetemol at night.

I have deleted my experience with Flixotide because nobody gives a damn.ACC has rejected my claim.We think our rights are paramount but against drug companies they are of no account.

hi i have one boy his 7years old he take flixotide from when he 3years still now any problem make flixsotide with the memory because some time he forget.

chokes me up and it blocks my ear canals
