Gefitinib

my father strted gefitinib from one month now strted red colour urine and acene skin rash itching

My dad started taking Gefitinib from 2 days back. Now he has fatigue and Cough, but he has not having any of the side effects till now.
Now I want to know how many days it takes to show the side effects once you start the drug.
and How you know that the drug is working.

feeling tierd, loss of appitite

My Aunt was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer last November and is taking the drug.Lately she has been suffering from an itchy,painful and scaling scalp with lesions. She first experienced itchiness and pimple-like growths on her face, then this ended and it began on her feet and then her arms. She spoke to her doctor about this who laughed and suggested that her symptoms were 'migrating'.We don't know if this is usually normal.Now these symptoms have seem to move on to her scalp.The rest of her body does not seem to be as badly affected as her scalp is now and how they used to be previously.

Before taking this medication we aware that there would be side effects.However we would like to find a way to cope with the problem.She has tried using the shampoo recommended to her by the Cancer Society in Singapore ,but to no avail. Is the flaking the same as dandruff? Could we use the same remedies to treat it?What would you recommend? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.Thank You!
