Haldol

I was 22 years old when I was suffering from what I now know as Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Maternal Narcisistic Injuries when I was taken to a hospital for dehydration and emotional breakdown/shut down. 

I was placed in a room, tied to a bed while two doctors entered the room and injected me with Haldol and Cogentin.  My head was thrown back and my head and body became "frozen".  My mouth open and neck twisted backwards.  I felt like I was "inprisoned inside my body."  I was unable to communicate and form complete words, words were coming out backwards, constipation, dillusions, skin reaction ie itching, central nervous problems (uncontrollable shaking), lethargy, inability to function.

I was told that they thought I had a rare brain disorderr called Agenesis Corpus Collossum. (absence of the Corpus Collossum).  Doctors proceeded to "study" my brain.  I was lethargicly present but unable to articulate communication.  I was taken into a room every morning while schools of doctors questioned me and evaluated my mental state. 

I was having Haldol induced catatonia and sleep.  I was placed in the psychiatric ward for approximately three weeks and I am assuming now that they had to wait and see what was going to happen and also to let the Haldol get out of my system.

I woke up one day and wondered what I was doing in the psychiatric ward.  They insisted that I was not normal, gave my mother perscription for Haldol and told her that I would probably never be normal and that she should apply for Social Security Disabilty for me. 

I was unable to function other than sitting in a chair rocking back and forth after oral administration of the Haldol at home.  Inside I knew something was right and my mother was incapable of understanding or protecting me throught this. 

I had to find a place for myself and my two children to stay while I recovered from this problem.  My mother took me to a homeless shelter at my request.  I flushed all the medications and began to improve.  Nerves took a year or two to recover. Mental status was diagnosed as normal.

I haven't been evaluated but am in question of the possibility of permenent damage to my central nervous system.
