Higroton

Went yesterday to a new doctor, she was unable to make any change in my current prescription, even after telling her of taking diovan for 8 years, plus the diuretic.
Insisted on sending me for more tests, in the mean time no changes and my edema the same.
I asked her if higroton was ok while taking diovan.
Yes, she said, is a diuretic.
Same as diurex ?, YES SHE SAID
A diuretic is a diuretic she said , sending me a look of knowledge.
Are they working the same way? well, yes and no, they are working in different ways, but working.
So, I can change and take higroton.....
silence.
To make this history short, this morning I took just a half of 50 mgs of higroton.
After a few minutes of diovan and higroton my bp startet to elevate, and my bp pressure was from 120 to 138, and counting, Later 140 over 90.
I doubted on my mashine, but my head told me I was in trouble.
Finally reached 190 over 98.
I started to pray to God, asking for world protection.
I just tooked another diovan 80 mgs and clonidine , it was outdated, but I took it anyway.
Felt a warm all over my body and slowly the bp came down.
Miserable doctor....and now waiting for a cardiologist consult.
Thanks God I am just a retired nurse., whit some kind of a
knowledge.
Do not take diovan with hygroton at the same time
But how many people get so wrongly medicated?

BP and pulse rates have lowered significantly. I also feel less stressed in the mornings. Although I'm 72 I'm in general good health and usually fairly energetic. I like feeling less stressed, but I'm almost feeling lazy,not wanting to much more than read or watch movies. This is unusual for me. My Dr. said he didn't thik the medecine has anything to do with this, but I don't agree since it such a definitey change since I began using higroton. I'd really like to hear from others (Drs. and patients) about this.
