Humatrope

I am an adult who has recently, 2 months ago, began taking humatrope. My history with growth hormone deficiency is lon. As an adult, with two children of my own, my advice to any parent is please do not let your child stop taking this exceptionally important drug. Growth Hormone is SO important for many other things, not simply height alone. I quit taking it at 15...I was 5'3" and was "tall enough." As I have learned now, GH is imparative for functions other than height. I would love to discuss with anyone - but there is a wonderful resource in magicfoundation.org. my daugther is 13 and has been a GH injections since she was 7. We took one year off as a break during the last 6 years to see if there was a difference in her growth. We have been on 4 different GH drugs in the last 6 years and have seen the best results with humatrope. Would be happy to talk further as I know the anguish you are experiencing. I was hoping to get a response back from another parent or even a pre teen girl with their experience in taking Humatrope.  My daughter is about to start taking the daily injections, but now I am having second thoughts....I am so worried about the side effects...especially ones like Diabetes, etc.  I am also worried she will go through all the shots without growth!!! Any thoughts for or against!
