    I am taking IV invanz daily for osteomyelitis of the jaw. I continue to have pain and mild swelling after being on it for 3 weeks (will prob be on it for 8 weeks total). I am extremely fatigued, have loss of appetite, and increased depression. I am not sure if these are symptoms of the infection or side effects of the med. Thanks.

    My mum, 80 years old, had Urinary Tract Infection. Prescribed 7 days of Invanz Injection. After the 4th Injection, she experienced the following side effects : "hallucination", insomnia, leg weakness, mental stage change, seeing things and people that are not real. However, at times she is mentally alert, remembering things and people.

    Is this a recorded side effect? Any suggestions? Should the side effect wear off? After how many days? Should she be admitted to hospital?
