  • I agree with you Donna Maree,…

I agree with you Donna Maree, ive been on Jurnista for just over one year, the last seven months i have been in and out of hospital six times, ive has seizures and sweats as well as ver expensive ambulance rides. I was on 40mg, and just beed told that all this is due to Jurnista, Yes it is good for my pain, but seizures, shakes, sweats, crying, and wanting to end it all was not worth it, i am weaning myself of slowly. i just hope everyong who goes on thisdrug is given all the information. Good Luck. PS dont break the tablets, they have a special coating on them, go down by 4mg. good luck

  • Jurnista works for me. Have…

    Jurnista works for me.
Have been taking Jurnista 8mg for a couple of months, I tried the higher dose but felt drowsey. The 8mg allows me to sleep undisturbed. I take it about 7pm and I have no tiredeness throughout the day. I have much less nasty nerve grabs in my back and stand much straighter. My husband has noticed I am walking much better.
I have experienced no side effects.
I was reluctant to take this medication but it works and I'm so pleased my doctor prescribed it.

  • Hi, I've been on Jurnista…

Hi, I've been on Jurnista for over a year now.  I used to take one 64 mg tablet a day.  It certainly relieved my pain, but at that time my marriage broke down and I started drinking heavier.  I never related my symptons of depression, the shakes, constipation, clammy all the time to the Jurnista, cause I thought, it's only 1 tablet, how can it be that bad.  I trusted my doctor and never bothered to look up information about it on the internet.  My marriage is finished, and I blame a lot of it on the Jurnista.  I am weaning myself off and am down to 1/2 a tablet a day.  This has been a terribly slow process, taken me weeks and weeks, cutting the tablet into pieces.  I have only today researched this tablet and I can't wait now to get it out of my system.  I still experience sleepiness, hot and cold sweats, nervousness but I don't blame all of this on the Jurnista.  I aim to get down to nothing and live with my pain.  My words to anyone who is thinking of taking Jurnista - DON'T - it may be a fantastic pain relief, but the side effects are certainly not worth it.  I only pray I can keep cutting down until I can get off it.  Good Luck.
