Kliovance

Been on Kliovance for a year, felt fine apart from constant thrush which won't respond to treatment. came off it for 3 months for a knee operation and within a week of going back on it have thrush yet again. Doctor has suggested trying Femoston instead, will report back in due course! Has anyone else suffered these awful bouts of thrush whilst on Kliovance?

Linda - Been taking one month - very heavy period after none for two years, bloated, put on weight, enlarged boobs, taking inhaler more, very moody and irritable and impatient, tired all the time, coming off and seeing what happens, nothing can be as bad as this! Finding that I am loosing patience with work colleagues etc for no reason.

I haven't had a period for over 8 years but the night sweats had become unbearable.  I was prescribed Kliovance three months ago.  Within days the night sweats had receded and for once in a long time I was getting a good nights sleep.  I had the occasional 'spotting' but last month after commencing another months supply I began to bleed and this continued for 2 weeks.  I have now stopped taking the tablets and of course am experiencing 'flooding'.  I thought today it had finally stopped after 8 days. But after 10 hours with no bleeding - it's back again with a vengance.  When will it stop?  Am starting to feel quite weak.

tried 3 different hrt drugs, kilovance is the closest to me, i run and keep fit, I struggle to lose weight but kilovance helps me sleep therefore I have energy to exercise, the sweats 24 hours a day have gone, it scares me the side effects reading the above blogs, but I feel so much better, the only thing is it makes me bleed, I haven't done that for 6 years.  I reckon it's difficult to get it perfect.

i have been taking KLIOVANE for 5 months now, i have gain over a stone in weight and i have never had a weight problem. just like yourself i go to the gym 3-4 times a week and have a full time job which i am on my feet for 9 hours a day ???

 I am Aged 46, and have been On Kliovance for 6 weeks, have gained weight, bloated stomach, extreme tiredness,aching bones, restlessness...,edgy...The sweats have gone but thats all.I find there is not enough relevant information for women for the menopause,it seems all very hidden.I have found this has been a major change in my life for me, especially mood swings and it all just seems strange having to now take hrt.

52years old went on kliovance 1mg, felt great on the tables no hot flushes no weight gain feeling pretty good.Now 53 l have lung cancer dont know if it is related or not,l have never smoked in my life.l had the cancer remove and hope for the best.but the hot flushes are back and l don`t know what to do.

I am 55. I have been on kliovance for almost two months now, and I have piled lots of weight on!!  This is making me feel very depressed!   The night sweats have ceased (which is one good thing!)
My stomach is always bloated!  My boobs are very tender and enlarged.  Also, I've been having a 'brownish' discharge for a couple of weeks!
I had not had a period for 3 months when I was prescribed these.
Not sure what to do...  going back to see my GP next week. 

Tried to do the NATURAL way to deal with menopause for 5yrs, all the black kohosh, soya,don quay?? then decided enough is enough, was prescribed KLIOVANCE and within 3 days, slept all night undisturbed, no flushes, to me it was my wonder pill, have been on it 4yrs approx, am going to try to come off it as I cant get rid of the excess poundage round my middle, although I go to the Gym 4 times a week.watch this space 

just been prescribed these.  I'm 55 and not had a period for 3 months.  Having really bad sweats & my joints are VERY painful!!!  I need something to ease the menopausal symptoms - are these safe to take????

I am asthmatic.  Has taking this drug caused anyone to have shortness of breath ?
