how does a BMI of 40 effect theuseof lactulose

been on lactulose (yellow one) for a month....heaps of gas and passing wind most of the day....a little crampy but nothing severe.....now when i go to bathroom to pass wind some small particles of stool coming out too. yesterday didnt even feel little baby stools come out!!! Almost involountary pooing. has this happened to anyone else? last week did take a bit more than the 20mls...one day took 30ml another couple of days 25mls would this be causing this symptom? *DONT_KNOW*

I have been taking Laculose for over a year now and have never had black stools. That, to me, is a sign of blood in your stools. Be careful though, to follow the recommended dosage. I really messed myself up by taking too much once. I had severe diarrhea, bowel pain, cramping, excess gas, mouth and nose peeled, tongue sore, throat sore and intestines inflamed severely.

i have diarrhea which is bright yellow and urine is the same getting worried

i just had a stint put in an been hurting severly ever since. i am now in the hospital on pain meds but they dont seem to help. my pancreas was inflamed but they now have it back to normal. unfortunatly the pain has not decreased. i am on a clear liquid diet an its still unbearable. anyone know?

does anyone know the difference between the green colored lactulose and the yellow colored one? My dad was on the green one which was working for him. His pharmacy closed and he switched to a new pharmacy which gives him the yellow one. It makes him sick and is not working as well????

I was given lactulose after having a baby and a 3rd degree tear, I start with bloating then the most awful stomach cramps which turned out to be severe trapped wind. I;m not sure if the vommiting is a side effect from lactulose or a reaction from the pain.
I was even sent for tests for gall stones because my doctor couldn't believe the amount of pain I was in, even a trip to a+e in desperation.
