Lipidil

I have been put on Lipidil because I could not sleep when I was on statins - both Lipidor and Crestor. I don't sleep well on Lipidil either and get shoulder pain, feel very tired and my urine is very dark yellow.

Constant headaches

I am suffering severe sweating

Headaches, very tired, skin rash which was very itchy, yellowing of skin and eyes, liver damage to 90% requiring hospitalisation, diagnosed as autoimmune hepatitis.

I have been put onto Lipidil 145mg because I cannot take statins , but is this not a statin. I have felt nausea very tired, and very low emotionally. and not myself. Very similar to the same effects I had when taking statins.

After two months taking Lipidil I started to experience a lot of muscle pain, shoulders in particular, a lot of coughing and general lethergy. Headaches, particularly on waking in the am.

Increased pulse rate at night, usually a couple of hours after taking Lipidil

SEVERE AND CONSTENT COUFS

I am a stage 2 diabetic. I have my blood tested regularly and have been taking Lipitor 10mg X 1 per day for many years. Having changed my lifestyle, for the better, I asked my Doctor if I could get off Lipitor for 1 month, then get my blood checked again. The result was my Triglycerides increased so Lipidil 48mg X 1 per day was prescribed. I have been taking them for 2 weeks, with no problems so far, although I suffer severe arthritis, so joint pain is a given, with or without medication.
My question is, after looking at this web page, I notice one of the many side effects is "Increased blood tryglycerides" This is contrary to lowering mine.

my husband took his lipidil last night and has accidentally taken one tablet again this morning, should he consult a doctor now
