I have been taking Loette…
I have been taking Loette for two months now and it has been great. My first experience of the birth control pill was Yaz and I was TERRIFIED after being on that - that pill was like an emotional roller coaster, I got upset over the stupidest things, had a super fast heartbeat and couldn't get out of bed some days - my happy personality changed into a moody and black one, and I couldn't get over it, this is what scared me the most.. the minute I stopped taking that pill I felt immediately better.
Loette has given me no side effects whatsoever aside from breakthrough bleeding which is supposed to stop after the first couple of months. I experienced breakthrough bleeding right before the withdrawal bleed (white pills) was supposed to occur which was very frustrating and ruined my anniversary night with my partner! I also found that breakthrough bleed to be more painful than the "official" withdrawal bleed. Other than that Loette has been awesome - but as other people have said on this forum, every pill is different for everyone. You need to find the right fit for you. -

Have been on it for 3 months…
Have been on it for 3 months and for a while was living in hope that it would work. I went on it for acne related reasons and have found it helpful on my chest and back but no help at all on my face. It has made me gain heaps of weight, I went from being a slim hourglass to a fat pear! Tossing up whether to change or not....but not that impressed!

My doctor prescribed Loette…
My doctor prescribed Loette to try to help with PMDD (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder) by evening out the hormone levels. Usually I have four days a month where I suffer increased anxiety, anger, frustration, depression, noise sensitivity etc. Basically PMT/PMS on crack! Since being on Loette for two cycles, I have experienced extended and more frequent periods of the above symptoms. I am currently on day 6 of feeling this way and today found it very difficult to have 'normal' conversations on the phone and in person. Found myself crying and becoming almost psychotic in the ways that I felt and behaved. Not sure if it's definitely Loette, but will check back with my doctor.

I took Loette for 6 months…
I took Loette for 6 months and never felt better. I have come off it for about a couple of months and feel like crap 1 to 2 weeks before getting my period. I get most of the PMS symptoms, where as when i was on Loette i never had any PMS symptoms at all. So im thinking i am going to go back on it. At the end of the day you need to find the thing that is best for you, and the ones that dont have positive things to say about certain meds it is because it obviously isnt the right one for you.
