I took Lutenyl non-stop for 60 days. I had surgery scheduled to remove a big myoma (fibroid) believed to have caused two miscarriages back to back at 10 weeks and lutenyl was used as an emergency measure to try and stop the growth of the fibroid while waiting for the surgery (vacation season-doctor away). After 30 days I started having pain in my joints and my hands were swollen. I stopped lutenyl for two days but at the advice of my general clinician I started taking it again. He explained that I should carry on so that I did not start bleeding. The pain in my joints (even the soles of my feet hurt) was so bad my boyfriend had to comb my hair and dress me. I could barely move my arms. It was horrible. I had my surgery and a week or so after stopping lutenyl my symptoms had almost completely disappeared. My right arm took longer but 30 days later it is fine.
I a sharing this because I do not want people to be scared as I was - the doctors were telling me I might have developed rheumathoid arthritis etc. but the blood tests were all negative. It was a horrible period - worse even than the surgery.

i took this medicine coz i missed my period from 1 month, after taking the medicine for 5 days ( 1 packet ) after 9 days my period comes. but in my 2nd day i feel so unussual coz i feel so pain like cramp..i was so wondering why? donno if its the side effect of Lutenyl..Thanks
