i have severe headach that awke me from sleep

I experienced the exact same, on second infusion with really bad gastro-oesophageal spasms. I had only had 150ml out of the bag and they threw the rest away. My infusion is usually done over 6 hours whereas this particular time it was over 3. Previous treatments, I experienced swollen upper lip and throat closing up. My jaw and ears also very sore. I also experience one day of muscle ache and major joint pain that leaves me unable to even lift a thing or move.

I have really bad depression since having Mabthera

During second infusion - severe allergic reaction with itching at all extremities. Anti allergic infusions were given. Evening after and later muscle pains and severe headaches followed by joint pains, weakness and "roaming" stitch pains.

Salam To All ! Well I'm asking about Mabthera because my mother is suffering from RA & doctors had advised to cure it with Mabthera. But there are many reservations in my mind regarding this drug, one is it's side effects & other is it's status as experimental for RA patients. Any response will be highly appreciated. If anybody could provide me with some realistic information about Mabthera I would be extremely grateful, as I've had RA for 3years and have been on Revelex, which just didnt work.  I then went on Enbrel, which worked for a short while and then my body began rejecting it, I am considering going on Mabthera and am quite afraid. I had to go for Mabthera infusion as my platelets count was low.
I had 4 doses.
 After the 1st dose I had severe back pain.
 After the 2nd dose I had viral infection and my platelet count went down to zero.
After the 3rd dose I had hot flush and the next day I couldn't walk due to severe joint pain.
After the 4th dose no severe side effect.
At the end my platelet count shoo up to 253.

Fiaz, my mother had the mabthera and she has recovered 80% from the first doze allahmduliilaa. she will be having her second doze tomorrow (after 15 days of first doze). i recommend it. Allah may give ur family the best health.
