Macrodantin

I am on the drugs at the moment and i have headaches. My head is feeling heavy...I am not sure it is the drugs am talking..

I have been on this medication for approx 6 months.  I have developed a severe case of ulcers in my mouth and tongue.  This will heal for about a week, then come back with a vengence.  I just realized this medication could be the cause, and did not consider it because of the success with very little uti infections.  I take many other medications, and this is the only new one I've added.  Any comments?  Any sollutions to help me recover from these ulcers? 

Im a 23 yr old female, have been put on the drug for 3 months, am half way through and have started experiencing nausea and severe headaches that last around 3 days, I  have never suffered from headaches before and am convinced its a side effect, may stop taking it

I took a low dose of Macrodantin for 9 months, daily. I was in the 8 1/2 months and I started pain in all my joints. I hurt all over my Dr. said this could not be causing my body pain, and he wanted me on it another year. I stopped the drug, and it took 2 months for all the pain in my joints, and back (every where was in pain) to stop hurting. Then I came down with Temporal Artitus, and still dealing with that now going on 2yrs.4 months, and trying to get off Predisone.

Nearly killed my mother.Admission to hospital. Rapid onset of severe pain, breathing difficulties and liver damage as seen by extremely elevated liver enzyme results. Ultrasound showed such an enlarged liver that breathing was restricted and diaphragm was perforated. Took only five tablets. Never to take this one again.
