My experience was agitation and feeling somewhat mentally confused, panic sensations

I had a severe reaction to maxolon in 1986. My eyes kept rolling upwards at first then my head started turning to the left and I couldn't contol either. Ended up in hospital as by now I had severe tremours all over and felt like I was going to swallow my tongue. A year later when i had my tonsils out they gave me stemityl to stop me being sick. I had already told them I had an allergy to maxolon! At least this time I knew what was happening and that it would stop as soon as they gave me the antidote.

I used Maxolon in tablet form while i had a bad case of gastro and didn't have any problems. The vomiting didn't stop on the tablet for so I went to the doctor and he gave me an injection of Maxolon straight into my vain. Within 20 minutes, I was in my bed tossing and turning and I felt like my whole body was freaking out. I tried to keep still and sleep but I couldn't. I wanted to rip my skin off and I thought I was having a major nervous breakdown. I finally passed out from exhaustion of the gastro and the anxiety attack i had but woke up in the morning, took another Maxolon tablet (since I had no idea it was the Maxolon affecting me and I was still vomiting) and the horrible anxiety attack started all over again but it was much much worse. I rushed to a doctor cause I thought something was seriously wrong and he told me I should never take Maxolon again is this is a severe side affect and prescribed my Diazepam to calm me down. This worked really well and I was able to sleep off the affects of the Maxolon and wake up, still a bit jittery but a whole lot better. I am never taking that again. This was my first reaction to a drug and it was the scariest thing i have ever experienced. If you experience this, stop taking it and go to your doctor for help.

I had Maxolon in it early stages I think it was about 1986 when the drug was new. After taking the drug for a few days my mouth stated to feel weird.  I called down to my ex wife, stating something was wrong, by the time she came upstairs my mouth was locked.  She callled an ambulance I was rushed to hospital. By the time I got there my mouth was unlocking and then locking up again at another angle.  I had lock jar for four hours, the doctors did not have a clue what was wrong as it was such a new drug and they did not know at this time there was problems with this drug.  Thankfully the nurses changed shifts, one of the night staff noticed me and looked at the tablets I brought with me and stated she saw a case like me the previous week, they gave me an injection, and straight away my mouth unlocked, I was sent home, within the next week I lost about two stone in weight and was so ill.  This is a short version of my experience with the drug Maxolon.

the dossage of maxolon is 10 mg,i do not think that take 3 times a day for 10 days was a good idea,because,3 times a day times by 10 days will causes overdose.this is only my opinion...

My son take 3 times daily maxalon,because he has a virus and vomiting couple of times...he is tired all the time, he has lost his appetite and is not sleeping well, frequent headaches and complained of neck pain this morning...did i need to stop with that medication???

I was told that 1 - 10mg three times a day for 10 days was treatment for acute impotence. I found it was true

I was given maxalon IV in emergency and although it eased the illness, it caused me to be very edgy and I could no longer lay on the trolley so asked to go home (so I could pace, etc.) Is this a dangerous side effect? I'm about to start on maxalon tablets.

i felt very agitated and couldnt sit still or concentrate after one tablet. after takin 2nd couldnt control my actions my muscles all over my body went into spasms which i couldnt control. was admitted 2 hospital where i was given an injection and my symptoms started 2 subside. this was almost 30 years ago now and my experience has made me very scared of takin any other medication again. i have struggled 2 live with it and am currently under a counsellor to try and get over my fears.

I got severe pain while urinating and small lumps started falling out with urine
