Mebeverine

iI take it for diverticulitis & it eased the spasms dramatically after just 2 pills!! I had been in agony , rolling around floor for days suffering before finally ringing my G.P because I am on so many other pills for other illnesses & a carer for my hubby, I can't afford to be "ill" I just cope normally ........but that day I just couldn't & they have been my wonder drug for controlling my agonizing spasms & so far no side affects ....... :)

I have been taking mebeverine for approx 1 week, although I missed two tablets yesterday, im having really bad headaches,the pain seems to be in my right eye and just above its awful:(

i had started these friday for strong very painful abdominal painsandspazums have reduced but soo grumpy and tiered all the time but cant sleep

I've been prescribed to Meberverine due to having IBS. I didnt recieve a paper in the box stating any side effects. I've been taking the medication for the past 4 days taking 3 a day. Since taking the medications I've experienced abdominal pains; stomache pains; alot of wind; drowsiness; feel drained out; sickly; & i have been getting a dry thoat & mouth.
Are these ALL normal side effects?

I've been prescribed Mebeverine 135mg about two months ago for regular abdomen pain, my doctor suggested to only take them as when i need them, but i'm a little concerned about why my GP didnt want to find out the reason for the constant  regular severe pains? is there any other side effects to this other than the feeling tired, lethargic, eleppy and grompiness?

started Mebeverine two weeks ago for strong abdomen pain (possibly due to diverticulosis), three times a day (dosage 135 mg) and tend to feel sleepy and lethargic.  Pain much better though.  But i suppose an antispasmodic is bound to have that effect?

Have had an itchy mouth since starting Mebeverine this morning

i have been taking mebeverine 135mg since yesterday and have felt so tired and drained aswell.But no pain in my tum,so do i put up with the side effects and not be on the ball for my 5 yr old son or be on the ball and suffer the pain.

Mebeverine makes me feel very drained and tired. I cannot function properly in my role as a teacher and therefore it is not a remedy for my IBS. Does anyone have any other ideas?
