    my 24 year old daughter has been taking mefloqune for 6 weeks now while back packing around SE Asia, this morning she had what appears to be a seizure. She has never had one before. she was taken to a french hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, the inital blood work all came back normal along with a normal CT scan. I dont know if this could be a side effect of the drug or if it is unrelated. She will be in SE Asia for 6 more weeks, should she keep taking the mefloquine?
