    hi im 24 years old and on 375mg a day its 125mg three times a day, ive been on them since march and ive suffered all the side effects, nausea, stomach pains, dizziness and yellow urine also severe headaches even though ive been back to the drs they told me there was nothing wrong and to not go back complaining but im still taking the methyldopa any suggestions what i should do

    I am a 40 year old black female.  This drug was subcribed to me for Hypertension in May of 2010.  I origianlly took a 125MG dosage twice a day.  On October 15th 2010 my dr. increased my dosage to 250 MG twice a day.  10 days later I experienced symtoms of nasea, yellow urine.  I went to my dr who informed me it was a stomache infection.  6 days later I was admitted to the hosptal for hepatic nerosis and stage one liver failure.  I recieved a liver transplant on November 6th 2010.  I am currently disabled and home recoperating.  I wanted to see if there was anyone on this forum who experienced what I did.
