Metronidazole

The same thing is happening to me right now, I've had the symptoms for 2 days now & still waiting for the swelling to go down.

I was given metronidazole for an infection after a hysterectomy. I feel hot then cold but don't appear to have a temperature, I have headaches, and a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. I am concerned that the infection is still there and will have completed my second course of the medication in two days.

I am a 18 yr old, i was pescribed metro for a infection.... 2 days into i was feeling very paranoid and frightened, last night i experienced two encounters of wide awake, shaking, grunting, crying and coldness. scareyyy :'(

thats also my case then one time theres a discharge came with stinky smell then i search my case in the net then visit my ob,,i was diagnose of bacterial vaginosis.i take metronidazole,after 2 days i felt like im sick and lazy,,sometimes im not in the mood to eat.i feel dizzy and it sometimes cause vomiting :'(

i feel the same too..i feel so lazy and sick. :'(

Hi just been discharged from A&E. Meronidazeole 400mg. I had severe racing heart beats (resting pulse normally 53 became 90-100! and would go to 140 with no prompting). Blood pressure usually 120/60 became 135/90>. Breathing was difficult. Had tight chest. Dizzyness. uncrontrollable shaking. Cold. Cold hands that then became clammy. Light headedness. Weakness. Increase in visiting toilet prior to all of this. Furry tongue. Although I could speak the words didnt come out easily. Just felt perculiar next day too. All very traumatic. Though I was having heart attack. All result show I wasnt so taken off the anti biotics which I was taking with Cefalexin 500mg (which is also dodgy!!). I was given them as a preventatory medicine following a heamorrage 2 days previous. I did not have an infection. Given penyicilin based anti biotics as alternative.

hi,am 21 years old from phil. am engaging sex so many times for ten guys,time came that am discharging something unpleasant and yellow in color am shy to check a doctor so i just try to search some knowledge on net then am trying using metronidazole and thanks god it really works now i promise myself id stop foolish games like i did. :*

Describe Your Metronidazole Experience Here: after taking a total of 4 pills, 1 first day 2 second day and 1 in third day. I had symptoms begin on that second day. There was tingling in my lips with burning in my lips and tongue. The next day they look swollen. My ear was all congested, around opening of nose it burns and I have nasal congestion and runny. My eye lid swelled up and I have a confirmed bacterial infection in eye.(may be related to meds) eye dr wouldn't say. Doctor who out me on meds told me not to take anymore, so I'm waiting for these symptoms to go away. How long after meds are stopped will symptoms go away? I've had alot of symptoms some common some not so.

dentist gave me 400mg of metronidazole for toothache i feel sick and dizzy i keep going hot and cold and my skin goes red

I was given Metronidazole by my dentist for tooth ache, dentist said I have an infected tooth. Constant Metallic taste in mouth, Bouts of dizzines. Ringing noise in my head.

Its been just over 12 hours since I've had five pills of Metronidazole, I woke up at 3am in the morning, I was sweating  from my head, my heart was pounding and I thought it was a bad dream, but I couldn't get back to bed. Then i started hallucinating, seeing people behind me.. is this coursing of the Metronidazole.?

I am experiencing the same thing. I was treated with Metronidazole in the beginning of the month and my period was supposed to come about a week ago and it has not. 

late period? over a week late now, could this be a side affect?

Metallic taste in mouth, muscle pain in back and legs, muscle cramps, difficulty sleeping

diahorrea, metallic taste in the mouth, burning vagina feeling sick bad stomach

Diagnosed with BV and started taking Flagyl orally twice per day for 7 days.  In the 4th day of my treatment my period started.  Had very heavy flow.  No cramps but very heavy menstrual bleeding and passed large blood clots.  Very worried.

Can I take Flagyl for a UTI?
