I've been on Microgynon 30 for about 2 weeks now, I still have headaches everyday. Is this my body getting used to the pill, and will they go away? Or should I talk to my doctor and change pills?

hi, im Betty ive been haveing some headache and pain in my eye. these pain are from my left side only. which make my hand arrm legs go nu sometime. cant it be related to that pills

I was started on microgynon for treatment of a 3x3 cm ovarian cyst in feb 2011, within first week of starting i experienced severe vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.I stopped the pill but was encouraged by a doctor to continue.I restarted the pill this week and within 5 days began having protracted vomiting ,abdominal cramps and diiarrhoea now becoming bloody.Could this be a direct or indirect effect of the pill? thank you

i started taking microgynon for fast one month, but i didnt see my period.

the pill makes me feel nortious alot sometimes i feel like im pregnant

i started taking microgynon since 10 years ago but what i'm experiencing is that i don't receive normally; and the blood is very dark. it comes down like spotting.

THIS MORNING MY GYNECOLOGIST PRESCRIBED MICROGYNON AND AN OTHER ADVICED ME TO TAKE BELARA OR JASMIN? AND I AM WORRIED BECAUSE I NEVER TAKE PILLS AND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME AND I CAN NOT CHOOSE BETWEEN THIS THREE PILLS BECAUSE OF THEIR SIDE EFFECTS;       HELP!!

I have been on the birth control for over 30 years.  The whole idea is not to geyears as they keep pregnant.  Side effects whatever they maybe such as say 5 lbs of weight, or a little more shaving of the legs is nothing compared to the consequences of having an unwanted child.  This can be a bad situation for yourself and even worse for the unwanted child.  According to many of the Doctors I have had travelling around the world it is a benefit to my health and well being.  Research bcps and look up the benefits to yourself physically and mentally.  I change types every 5-7 years as they keep making very large advances.  They have only been a benefit to  me.
There are the minis, microgynon, jasmine etc all are under various names of manufacturer.  They will all affect you differently.  Look at the one best for you and switch if it has a bad side effect.  Being on the same one for too long might be some peoples problems and they need to change brands.  No matter what if you miss more then 2 days you dont have sex unless you want the risk of a child,  Care and attention will obrain the results you t , not what is forced on you.

i was using the pills since 4 months after my birth of second child but i got a majour problem i became mentally disorder  

i havent taken any birth control in my life and would like to start take but am afraid of what will happen please help me

why does mycrogynon make me so despressed?

i have never experience side effects....but wat i want to no is if one day you stop taking the pill are uyou likely to get prgnant after using the pill for two years? :-D

I took Microgynon for 10 years.Almos all of these years I was a smoker. Still, I did not notice any severe side effects, like weight gain or head aches. However, I noticed that when I did not take this pill, my libido was higher than when I was on pill. I observed these several times, whenever I ceased taking the pills, occasionally. Another thing: I used to wear contact lenses before taking Microgynon. I never had problems with them.However, I do not tollerate them well anymore since taking this pill. In conclusion: Microgyinon was perfect for me, except a low mood for intimate relationships and decreased contact lenses tollerance.
