Midol

I took 2 this morning and since then my chest is burning why?it never has dive that before

took 5 pills. had fast beating heart and have not slept in 24 hours. but it took the cramps away. next time will only take half the dose.

I took two midol during my menstrual period and an hour later I couldn't breath and had a panic attack that laster for about 4 hours.

I took two midol that expired about a year ago. I'm feeling super anxious and a little nauseous. I have a history of anxiety and panic attacks and have been overly stressed the past few weeks. Also, I just started birth control 2 days ago. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but it might. Hopefully it will go away soon. It is very unnerving!

I typically take the "Midol: Complete" tablets during my monthly cycle because I have a large ovarian cyst that causes my cycle to be rather harsh. I've never experienced side effects until this past month. I'm a teacher, so I have to get up fairly early in the mornings. I went to bed early, and found myself not being able to sleep. This is unusual after I take midol because I usually get very drowsy. I also have noticed a very rapid heart beat change. It went on for almost an entire day. I've never had anything like that, but it got to the point where it sent me into almost a panic attack because it scared me. My regular doctor said it was from the MIdol. I stopped taking it and the heart beat and insomonia slowly went away. I just don't know what in the were I'll take now. I can't stand the way it makes me feel.

I always take either brand name Midol or generic for my cramps. I never have problems except mild euphoria and slowed breathing(which is relaxing).
this time, though...I took 3 doses in one day (I guess too much, although I've taken more than that in the past)...around dinner-time I felt horrible nausea that lasted for a few hours. It was really painful in my tummy and I could barely eat without wanting to retch.
I went outside to get some fresh air and that made it a little better.
I hope this doesnt happen again because Midol is the only thing that takes the cramps away.

i just took some and i dont feel nothing yet. but i am kind of sleepy.

Makes the Constipation pain go away. Bloating too. I experience euphoria. Love it.

I took midol and my craps got worse. I had to go home early from school because the pain was unberable and I was almost in tears. It's wierd because I've been taking midol for my cramps for 2-3 years and I've never experienced any side effects before..

I have only tried Midol once. I could not sleep because of the pain, so I took one. An hour later I took another. Then I successfully fell asleep. But only a few hours later, I woke up and had to sprint to the bathroom. I think I threw up between 10 and 15 times in just about 10 minutes. - Since then I have not taken Midol, scared that it might happen again. But it seems to be one of the only things that help against the pain.

Whenever I take Midol ,i start feeling very nauseous and my hands start shaking a bit, i feel cold, and the pains still there, i get a pretty high fever sometimes, but sometimes when i take midol, it makes the pain go away completley, im confused, i only take one in a day, 2 at the max, but why does this happen?

It makes me feel completely stoned, however it is the only thing that makes the horrible cramping and sick feeling I get go away. However, I can't function normally when I take it. I know there are no ingredients in it that "should" make one feel stoned, yet I know other people who have this symptom, yet others who are fine. Who knows really. 

Took 2 midol for painful cramps and back ache.  Felt nauseous a lot, but no more cramps.  Definitely need to take on a full stomach or 1 pill instead.

I always take Midol. Just half of the recommended dosage, 1 pill, and it works miracles! I've never had any side effects other than the desired pain relief. Although, last night for the first time, after taking it before bed I felt a little light headed and queazy. And it was well over 4 hours since taking my last pill.

After i took this i felt fine, 
i had really bad cramps but after this i didn't feel them anymore, it took about 25 minutes and they were gone, i took advil, tylenol anything possible but midol works the best by far !

Oh, and I forgot to add that you should not take more than 2-4 a day, as it can cause you to feel sick if you have over that.

Overall I love this product. It is like a miracle pill for me when it comes to period cramping. I used to have period cramps that were so bad it would sometimes cause me to vomit, but Midol has stopped this. I had very minor side effects, such as:

- light headedness
- tiny bit of nausea for maybe fifteen minutes after taking it (it goes away after fifteen minutes about)
- appetite lessened

But overall, the side effects really weren't that bad and I would recommend Midol to people who get severe cramping during their period.

I FORGOT TO ADD!  and yes i took the recommended dosage. And yes it took the pain from my stomach away.. along with all feeling else where.

I took midol like 45 minutes before I had to work.. not thinking about anything but taking away my cramps... BIG MISTAKE!  I ended up feeling like I was high.. I couldn't feel my mouth. or my legs. I couldnt remember the code to get into the back door at work (stood there for like 6 minutes trying to figure it out)  and I use that code at least 15 times a day, I just couldnt remember for the life of me..  I couldnt remember how my pants got rolled up. (so i was forgetful)  couldnt concentrate on one thing.. my eyes just kept moving. and I started to shake uncontrolably. I started to laugh.  but everytime I laughed I would start to cry uncontrollably.  and Im pretty sure thats not normal. I know myself very well and none of these things are something i would do.  I didnt feel tired at all. or any nausea. Just like I was on cloud 9.. never again will i take midol.

i took 10+ midol pills the other day.
my tummy is hurtig ALOT!
and i get dizzy and my mind goes blank...
i can say that i might want to do it again ...
becuase i dont want to dry from my personal reassons ... how do i stop myself form taking to many again ....

i woke up gasping for air for some scary ,seems like forever. now  chest pain and stunic pain drives me nuts. its the secont time iv taking this. it never did anything befor.

Perhaps you should never take 5 of extra strength anything.

i took it last night and i couldnt sleep all night. :( then i had coffee and i am wide awake with really bad cramps.

I remeber taking midol once and my cramps had gotten worst, it was worst
after i took the pill. I would suggest sticking with tylenol or advil, if anything
just put a warm cloth on the area thats cramping.and I also drink ginger ale for my bloating.

Most likely the caffiene.  Any time I have caffiene after 5 pm, I don't sleep well.

today i took 5 extra strength midol . never do it . worst feeling!! naseaus dizzy weak couldnt feel my limbs headache

My mom actually recommened me to take 1pill every 12hrs and it should really help. She said if I were to take another before that what you went through will happen. So try taking 1pill every 12hrs and it should help. I hope this was very useful to you because I would hate for you to go through the pain of your period. :)

im 13 so i got the teen midol, and yesterday morning i took 2, because thats what it said to take, and about 2 hours later i felt very sick. I was freezing cold, outside on a 90 degrees day. My head was pounding, and i had a fever of 102.6. I kept feeling like i had to gag.. and i was coughing like crazy. I was real shaky all day.. I will NOT be taking midol ever again. I felt horrible. I rather stick with cramps rather than how i felt.. 

 I took midol for the first time today. Im feeling shaky, but no nausea. I feel like i have to burp, and i constantly feel like i have to go to the bathroom. Its helping the pain, but not making go away. Atleast i can stand. I was feeling sick and vomiting before i took the midol, and its helping a little with that. But i have no appetite, and i ALWAYS have an appetite. Ive been on birth control for the last two years, and i recently stopped due to health precautions. I had a normal period last month, no cramping, no discomfort. But this month... OH MAN! I've never felt anything like this. It feels like my uterus is falling apart. I was really hoping midol would work better then it is. I guess ill have to find something else :[

After taking Midol I have had a hard time falling asleep. I've only taken Midol on three separate occasions, but each time I've taken it I've noticed my sleep out of whack - I'm talking about not falling asleep until after 3:30am. I'm completely wide awake all night. Must be the caffeine in it?

Don't know If Midol is the cause of my extreme fatigue. I took Midol before going to the store. When I was about to leave, 30 minutes after taking Midol for menstrual pain, I felt very exausted. I had a herd time driving home. I felt very dizzy. I slept about four hours straight... was very, very tired. About six hours now after taking the drug, I can say that I feel a little bit shaky, and a bit tired... but, besides that, I'm okay. I took two tablets and had eaten before taking the pills. The pain is still there, but not as painful. If I want to take more Midol, I'll take them before going to bed. Not two pills, but only one, this time. Usually, Midol doesn't give me thoses side effects. It usually only get rid of the pain. I don't know what happened today.

after taking midol i felt nauseous, dizzy, i felt like fainting, i was a little shaky, my heart beat seemed a little irregular and i couldn't get to sleep. i kind of had a panic attack, but i dont think it would be considered a panic attack to a doctor. i took the pill around 4-5 hours ago and am still feeling waves of all of the symptoms listed above. i didnt eat a full meal taking midol though, so that could have something to do with it. also it didnt get rid of my back pain, but it stopped my flow, but now i have to pee like ebery ten minutes, although that could have to do with the excessive amounts of water i drank. my mouth is also veryyy dry. im not sure if that is because of the midol? mmm, in short. i literally thought i was gonna die tonight. >.< so i say; screw midol. take something else. i would rather keep the back pain than all this other crap. oh and i recommend you try to distract yourself from the side effects by talking to someone who can keep your mind off things. i chose an ex-bestfriend. hes good at that kind of stuff [; ughh, im going to bed now.i think the side effects finally wore off. (i took it at like 10:30 p.m ish and its 4:30 a.m now) i HATEEEEEEEE midol. hope this helps. (;

im a teenager and was suffering from very severe cramps so i decided to take a midol. i read the box and it said that i should take two when i usually only take one. about 30 minutes later i suddenly became very dizzy and began to sweat and become shaky. it's been about an hour since and i still feel very weak and a tad bit nauseous :(

I don't know if it's a direct link to taking midol, but whenever I do, my flow tends to slow, and sometimes even stop..  I get nauseous and dizzy too, but my biggest concern is my flow, the pain reduces, but so does my period!? and as soon as it's out of my system the pain is 3 times worse, and my flow gets heavier!

I felt so  dizzy and nauseous after taking midol today.  I have never taken it and can usually tollerate meds okay.  But about an hour after taking it, I started to feel wierd flashes of dizziness and then got super pukey feeling.  Now four hours later I am still sick to my stomach.  What in the heck is in that stuff?  I've taken percocet and vicodin before after surgeries for pain and not felt this sick.  Yuck!!!!

I'm not sure if it's just from the pain, but the last two times I've had extreme cramps, I vomited soon after taking Midol. It's rather aggravating, as I have to go through enough trouble attempting to swallow it (as it's rather large), only to vomit it out soon after, meaning my attempts were in vain. 

I took some Midol about 3 hours ago for really bad cramps. I fell asleep (thankfully) but when I woke up 2 hours later I almost started vomiting. I was so nauseous I was pretty concerned. i dry heaved, but nothing came up. I've also had the worst diarrhea since I took it. I've taken it before and it was OK, but I did take the 'complete' stuff which maybe is just too strong for me. I'd rather be dealing with cramps than this. :(

thats weird, i feel the COMPLETE opposite. i just wanna sleep after.

everytime i take midol for my cramps (which i may add are extremely severe) i tend to feel heavy headed and my arms and legs are limp. this time, i was even dizzy and felt sick to my stomach.
the stuff works wonders but don't take more than four a day cause man, i was just as miserable as when i was rolling on the floor with cramps.

Ginger helps: mood swings, pains, cramps, fatigue, luck of concentration. I use ginger paste or fresly sliced in my tea. Add a little of lime juce which is helps with bloating and mood swings too.

I HATE midol, the PMS symptoms went away but it made me feel jittery and it's horrible!! I feel like I took some kind of aderall or something

I think it make my bladder controll weak, hopefully it's only temporary.

Yesterday I had my menstrual period, and I take Midol, I was taken to the hospital, cause i feel Syncope, hiperventilation, dizzy. I think was the side effects, but the doctor tell me was a panic attack. I don't think so. cause I never experience something like that.

I  keep getting waves nausea after taking midol about an hour ago. I ate a full meal after taking the pills. I also expierienced a short mild headache that eventually went away. I feel a little dazed and dizzy also. But most of my menstral pains seem to have subsided.

I'm experiencing nausea that has lasted for5 hours now since taking Midol. I've previously taken it without problems. Is it more likely I didn't eat enought to  absorb it properly, or is this a possible allergic reaction?

I TEND TO GET SAD A FEW DAYS BEFORE MY MENSTRUAL DOES MIDOL OR PAMPRIN OR ANY NATURAL HERBS HELP WITH THESE MOOD SWINGS?

I woke up with the worst cramps I've ever experienced a few days ago and was reluctant to take anything for it since I can't stand pills. But I took one anyway and all day I felt GREAT! I didn't have any side effects or any kind of pain at ALL! Midol works wonders for me. I love it and will continue to use it!

if coming menstruation has pain then will taking a medicine midol is it that if u will taking habit is it probably will not anymore having a baby like pregnancy.pls reply
