Terrible urinary frequency.constipation,insomnia, anxiety,lack of appetite and no one knows how to cure it.The doctors are usless.Do not take minocycline it is a very powerful drug.It gives you very long side effects.

Urinary frequency ,wheezing,constantly tired and feeling depressed.Horrible drug stay away from minocycline.

Cysts in kidneys- minocucline is a horrible drug.

Depression, anxiety,fast heart beat,unable to take a deep breaths,horrible urinary frequency day and night ,urinating every 20 to 30 minutes 24 hours with polyuria 3500 ml of urine every day,constipation,insomnia,unable to concentrate,running nose,lack of appetite,weight loss.Minocycline is a very powerful med and it should not be given to teens for acne.The doctors prescribe it but when you have this side effects they will tell you that it is all in your head because they can not find a cause for this symptoms, they will not admit it is side effects of minocycline,they will not help you because they do not know how.You will have to suffer on your own.It is very sad.

I'm 22 years old college student. I hav been taking Minoyline pills for two weeks, now am experiencing a major depressive episode, I have bad thoughts every day. I don't what to do please help

My 18 year old son experienced a major depressive episode from taking only six Minocycline pills. After three trips to the emergency room, he had to sign himself into the psych ward at a local hospital. It has been almost six months since his horrifying experience but he continues to suffer from the side affects of this drug.

I would advise anyone who takes this drug to be very aware and cautious. There are documented cases of serious side affects to including death.

He experienced dizziness, sensitivity to light and sound, lack of concentration, anxiety, and mood swings and eventually had to take the semester off from college.

His Major Depressive Episode occurred after he discontinued taking the drug. My son was an athlete who was in excellent physical & mental condition. I reported his case to the FDA.
