  • I have been on moclobemide…

I have been on moclobemide for about a month, i have this weird electrical buzzing in my head, worst in mornings, its hard to explain but ive been calling it dizziness / light headedness. its different tho, feels like electric shocks / jolts / buzzing in my brain and behind my eyes. anyone else had that? i tried to tell my psychiatrist he said it wouldnt be the moclobemide but i probably had an inner ear infection. but i dont think i described the sensation very accurately and its not stopping....

  • I only took it for 2 weeks…

I only took it for 2 weeks as the side effects were really nasty. I am still recovering now it has been 4 weeks since i last took a dose.  Whilst on it my anxiety and emotions were out of control, started feeling sick all day every day, went of food and drink, headaches all the time, could not sleep. This drug should not be allowed on the market.

  • I think this drug sucks,…

I think this drug sucks, I have been diagnosed with Aniexity Depression disorder and the durg has only made all these things worse, the weird electrical sensation I have felt throught my whole body andI have and am continually experiencing all of these side effects

Allergic Reactions/Hypersensitivity: Occasionally isolated urticaria without other symptoms, asthma, and rapid fall in blood pressure.Psychiatric Reactions: Occasionally insomnia and increased anxiety; infrequent are confusion, nervousness, and agitation. Central and Peripheral Nervous System: Occasionally vertigo and headache, infrequent peripheral neuropathy. Eyes: Infrequent is blurred vision.Cardiovascular: Changes in blood pressure (hypertension, hypotension) are infrequent.Gastro-Intestinal Tract: Occasionally nausea and dry mouth, infrequently stomach upset, heartburn, diarrhea.Skin: Occasionally rash, pruritus and redness of skin.Breast: Rarely breast enlargement and secretion of milk in both sexes (due to elevated prolactin levels).

I think this should only be administered and monitored by a psychiatrist!

  • Ive been on 150mg a day for…

Ive been on 150mg a day for 16 days, on the second night I experienced a weird electrical sensation running through my chest. Like a pulsing electric shock, it scared me a lot, and felt weird, but doc said its not dangerous.
Ive had this feeling three times, it has woken me from sleep.
