Had severe heartburn &…
Had severe heartburn & took 1 tablespoon (TB) Mylanta at 11pm when BS was 7.5mmol/L (slightly on the high side) & awoke at 3.45am with heartburn checked BS which was 11.7mmol/L which is about twice normal & took another TB of Mylata plus 6units Humalog fast acting insulin as a booster to lower the sugar level - Normally such a booster would reduce the BS level to about 4.0 to 5.0mmol/L (normal range) but I was shocked to get another high reading of 10.5mmol/L (about twice normal range)
