    My husband has advanced Parkinsonism and is in a nursing facility. He also has bone-on-bone arthritis; however, he never complained about pain from that. Nursing speculated that perhaps the pain message didn't reach his brain. He recently started on a regimen of Namenda and very shortly began complaining of hip, back, and migrating pain, which has changed their entire routine of dealing with him. They are now using a lift instead of having him stand or walk.
    My question is: Is it possible that the Namenda could have opened up a new pathway to his brain that he is now feeling pain that he did not expeerience before?

    What is a possible interaction when Namenda and Remeron are mixed. My grandpa takes Namenda and was put on Remeron 4days ago. He was found unresponsive yesterday he has no history of anything except Dementia and Alzhiemers. They worked him up in the ER and after Narcan was injected he came around with in 30min. His head CT had nothing acute normal age related changes from the last scan 2 years ago. He is still in the hospital and one of the doctors thinks this could have been the problem. He also takes Depakote. What do you think???
