>:o I was given Narcan in the recovery room by the PA. I went from 0-60 in pain and came up screaming after having a 90% rotator cuff tear fixed. It took them 20 minutes to get me oral medicine as well as a med pump before the pain was brought under control.
When asked why it was given to me the PA had no answer and walked out of the room. My surgery took place at a well know Day Surgery Center in Dallas, Texas. I ended up having to spend the night. After being given the drug I was verbally nasty to everyone, disorientated, severe pain (level 10), irritable, edema in my ankles and feet for three days.
I am a healthy 60 yr old female, who has always worked out 5-7 times each week.
