Neurontin

I am decreasing Neurontin. I am experiencing feeling of bugs crawling on me and itching all over. Could this be from Neurontin?

I was put on neurontin and bextra. I had severe auditory hallucinations for a very long time. My children were taken from me for a year! I would hear people in the basement and I would chase them - I used a nail gun once, I would try to video them. I chased them in a car. My "bf" called the police on me - threatening to throw me and my son's out (and he could in the state we lived in). Everything I was experiencing was 100% real to me. When the police came, they immediately took an attitude and said, "are you on medications"? Of course, I was indignant! I tried to show them where the people were hiding downstairs - I actually was climbing up on the metal shelving - screaming that they were there. Oh yes, it was real. The police were extremely sarcastic and just wanted to put me away. I cannot recall exactly but they must have left - but I do remember them threatening me along with my so called "bf" that they could come back and throw me and my 2 sons to the street! Well, things did not get better - they escalated. I saw in my younger son that I was frightening him. During this entire horrible experience, I found that I had breast cancer and had surgery and would drive myself every day for 7 weeks to the hospital - sometimes sleeping in my van. I could hear them always talking and then it was my bf and a woman that I started to hear. Anyway, it frightens me to this day - what was done to me - what my sons had to see. I did lose them for a year - the most horrible thing you could imagine. I finally came to "reality" the day that I chased (or thought I was) them (whoever they were living in the basement) yes, I chased them as they ran out the sliders to outside. It was winter. I ran after them... then all of a sudden I looked down. The only footprints I saw were mine. I was punished, never helped by anyone. I had to go through court and lose my boys and go through radiation then put somewhere for a while - I pray nothing so horrid happens to anyone else. I am very sick to my stomach right now, still somehow feeling guilty when I know those bizarre, frightening things I went through and put some others through were not my fault. Nothing was ever the same after that with my sons... how could it be. The "bf" well, he did throw us out after 8 years. I do not know how anyone could do that to 2 small boys he was with for so long and with absolutely nothing. It still hurts and I still suffer and am angry so much has been taken from the boys and me. I started Neurontin 4 nights ago...I've taken 4 - 300 mg.pills. One 300 mg. each night. I can't sleep and my tongue is swollen this morning. Called pharmacist and he said insomnia is a side effect of neurontin.... :'( I have terribel pheriphial neuropathy...I was hoping this drup would help me. I am so disappointed. I'm going to discontinue it...I want to sleep soon. 3 days no sleep. :'(

I began this drug for a muscle strain in my back 2 years ago.

I am a healty 56 year old with no health problems whatsoever.

At about that time I began using this drug I rapidly and unexpectedly lost my

libido and suffered impotence problems.

My doctor gave me a complete exam and said I am fine..Good Cholesterol

and Prostrate & Testosterone.

I am just now discovering that this drug can cause impotence.

Is this true?
