Nexium

I had been taking Nexium for two years and when I had tests in hospital they found that my liver count was 999 where it should only be 41. They took me off it straight away and within two days it had dropped to half and after seven days with no Nexium I was down to 110. I am now down to 19. Problem is I. am still suffering with indigestion and very white thick saliva

Has anyone experienced a reuction in the immune system to picking up cold and flue viruses.
Since taking Nexium I am constantly catching every Every type of cold, sore throat or chest infection going around.

my husband was diagnosed with pancreatitis. he had all the symptoms you described. i think its the nexium he is taking. he had been on it for about 2 months.

Is Nexium possibly responsible for left arm aching and left sided chest ache and fullness to back? Heart monitoring would indicate no problems yet this occurs usually each day 2 -4 hours after taking med. Could the vagus nerve be irritated by this med?

i have been taking nexium for 6 years now. I have had abdominal swellness,nausea,and dizziness for about 6 months now. Could it be the nexium?

i seem to be experiencing high blood gloucose lelvels while taking nexium. is this due to a drug interaction? Or is it a normal response of the body while taking this Medication? I hope it can be corrected as Nexium has helped me tremendously. Please tell me i can continue taking nexium.

my husband experienced nausea, vomiting, malaise, raised creatinine levels, 2.1-2.3, extreme thirst and urination.  He filled 5 urinals in the hospital in 12 hours.  Diabetes insipidus neph.  He also had an elevated eosin level, indicating an allergic reaction.

Hi! Some years ago I took nexium for v. severe gerd, with haemorrhage.
From the time I started it, suddenly my gastric system was totally upset, where it hadn't previously.
Because I wasn't digesting properly, my immune system was affected, and have since developed numerous food allergies.
I could eat anything before!!
I couldn't take any pharm. drugs due to the allergy problem-even those I'd taken with impunity years earlier.
I've found that a preventitive diet, and 'stomacin u', a sublingual spray used daily, keeps me gastrically well! Stomacin u is made from cabbage juice only, puts a protective mucin lining on the gut, preventing erosion & pain. It really works for me!!

I am taking mexium 20 mg regularly for last 1.5 years. Recent blood test have shown high level of liver enzymes . I am a non drinker and have never had any jaundice or any immunisation of hepatitis.
