Nystatin

Yeast in the intestines is not uncommon. My son has leaky gut syndrome and we have to treat him with antifungals yearly. I would recommend a strong probiotic once you are done with the antifungal to help your intestine increase the good bacteria/gut environment. Also you can google "candida" - you'll find quite a bit! 

A real good idea is to drink a lot, preferrably water.

I had a similar experience years ago. Yeast is not going down without a battle. When yeast is dying, it creates a lot of toxic substances, creating kidney, joint and other trouble. Stay under your doctor's supervision and try to go on. Good luck.

My doctor has me taking Nystatin ( 2 tablets - 3 times a day, dose of 500,000/ per tablet, for Yeast in the "Bowel". I have no symptoms of a Yeast infection, but the doctor tells me Yeast in the bowel is causing some allergy problems for me. He also has me on a "Yeast Free Diet", that is simular to the Adkin's diet. I need to loose 20 lbs because of my knee problems.  After being on this diet for about 2 weeks, I felt "Crummy" and had some Kidney pain. Has anyone ever heard of this Yeast in the Intestines?

Elizabeth, I just started taking Nystatin for thrush a mouth infection I got from taking antibiotics I was prescribed.  I started taking it and like you said...my heart would start pounding, my blood pressure in my case would go up and would last a few hours after taking the medication.  My  stomach would also hurt or feel as hot as if i had eaten like hot sauce.

Irregular heart beat.  Rapid pulse (120).  Drop in blood pressure (90/55).  Lasted a few hours after each dose.  Lowering dose didn't change the effects.  Also had upset stomach.  I will NOT be taking this again.
