thats not the opana, its the withdrawal, you either took suboxone prior to the opana, or u were off the opana for a day or 2 n began withdrawing dummy

My young nephew took this drug without a prescription and died. It is too dangerous to have on the market.

I also experienced the sweating and constant waking up at night. My Thanksgiving weekend was ruined by this drug!

Horrendous headache and pressure in sinus. NO pain relief. Need to go back on Oxycontin which worked!

I was prescribed Opana after I told my doctor I no longer wish to take Vicodin.  Initially the 5mg dosage put me to sleep after relaxing the nerve pain in my back and legs. (I only take it at bedtime)  After the first month I discovered that I was waking up after a couple hours of sleep with neck and head aches.  Since I have had these aches before if I do not sleep properly (too many pillows etc.) I didn't think much about it.  After a bout with a bad cold and awful headaches that woke me up after only 2 to 4 hours of sleep, I discovered it was only when I would take the Opana.  I would have to get up, take a 600mg Motrin to dull the headache and go back to bed in about two hours.  The dull headache doesn't really go away, just gets less noticable.  I will be advising my doctor on my next visit I will no longer take the medication due to the headache side effect which is more painful than the pain I was taking the drug for.

I used Opana and I will never use it again,,,,my doctor put me on it 10 days ago and for the last 3 nights I have been waking up at 4 am in the morning sweating like crazy and here I alaying in my sweat filled bed.......I was frezzing cold for 5 hrs after that......I had to take 2 showers to stop me from being so cold,,,within a 5 hour period I had to change clothes 9 times as I was sweating so much and it was making me chill....I could not get warm so I called my Dr and they told me that sweating was a side effect of this medicind,,,stay away from it plz
