Oxycontin

Had left half of an 40mg Oxycontin pill on my night stand! Came back about an hour later and was unable to locate pill! Time was approximately 5:00 PM! 4 to 4 1/2 hours later, younger stepsister, age 8, strangely says she took pill by accident! What would the side effects be to someone of that age and how long would it take them to take effect on her?

Hi, I'm not exsperiencing this first hand, but I am second hand. My bestfriend is. Let me tell you, I feel like I am. She has 7 days under he belt offically. I am so proud of her, considering how she was day 5 and 7, I don't think many people would stick around, i promised her I would, providing she didn't do it. She said some awful things, but she said sorry today. I have High hopes she will stay clean. She has many good reasons too. Well here is some info for those who are about to atempt the hardest thing they may ever half to do. One you are going to be okay. Two she didn't fly off the handle till day 5. She was up to 160mg a day, sniffing, I feel partly responsibly for not saying or trying to help her until now. i think its been 6 months. She was vomiting, diarea, cold, warm, crawling skin. Crying and trying to justify to use. we did not give in and let her take it. thank god. (thats alot to say when you don't reallly belive in a god) headaches, irrational, imagine the worst pain you could and I'd say times it by 10. I really feel bad, but I shouldn't I know. For anyone outthere who is gonna try, don't give up. Also if anyones knows if this drug causes you not to have your period? day 7 and she feels like she has period cramps........ any advice. as well, if she does any right now what will it do to her?

I have lost (broken off) seven lower teeth in last 60 days. Dentist say because OXYICONTIN causes severe dry mouth which creates optimal conditions for getting cavities and super fast (No cavities needing feeling at cleaning and NINE six months later). Dentist blames Doctor, Doctor blames Dentist=I have lost use of my ability to bite (I have a single front lover tooth left, and NEVER smile. Upper tooth loss (three in last six months). Severe back injury and fear by DR that Surgery can make it worst (how could it possibly be worst). Oxy only option offered other than morphine, which was used for first six months which I basically did not tolerate (no real memory of six months of my life). Help...Similar Tooth Loss or Dental Cavitites/Caries. Understand warning that comes with drug uses some fancy name only a medical person would know to get to side effect being easily understoood. Starts with an X if if recall correctlty.
