• hi i have been on oxycontin…

  hi i have been on oxycontin and oxynorm after a knee replacement 6 months ago and i am on oxynorm since i came home from hospital my daughter has to sign for these capsules and i only take 4 pills a day of 5mils but i am worried i will get addicted to them,they must be strong because they make my nose limbs tingle

  Sorry for the double post... not sure what happened but seems I am not the only one.. lol
  I did mean to say that after I began taking the 10mg capsules daily I was getting quite good pain releif for about 4 hours.  This has been this way for about 6-8 months now.  The nausea and headaches have not been a problem now. 
  Until today I have never taken more than the prescibed dose but I fear addiction or rather dependency.  I dont have an addictive nature and wont let myself get psycholgically dependent on them.  But I am concerned about getting physically dependent on them.  Yes, they do assist with the pain but what if I have to take them for the rest of my life..!! Will it wreck my kidneys or cause other problems... what other choice is there.  I have tried everything. Acupunture, surgery, spinal injections, even excercise... but nothing helps.

• I was prescibed Oxynorm 10gm…

  I was prescibed Oxynorm 10gm after suffering spinal fractures after an accident.  The first time I took one I had mad halucinations and heart palpitations. I flet fear and would not close my eyes. Later I experienced vomiting and a horrible headache.  I didnt take any more for a while and went back to the Panadeine Forte.
  A few more times when the pain was really bad I took the Oxynorm again.  This time no halucinations but still sick and had a headache afterwards.
  I began taking them about once a week or so only when the pain was bad.  Either the pain has increased or the Oxynorm dont seem to work as well because now I take one every day.  This concerns me for future health problems. 
  Today for the first time I am in a lot of pain and have just taken 2 x10mg capsules.  I feel a little foggy but only marginal pain releif... so now what.  i know I really need to go back and be re-assessed but I am scared stiff about spinal surgery..  I dont know anyone for whom this has worked.  I feel really lost sometimes and overwhelmed by this pain. It is all consuming and there seems no end to it.

  i was dignose with stomach cancer after i had a surgery, i used to have oxynorm 10mg in order to ease the pain when pain has gone i discoverd that i became addicted to it so i couldn't sleep if i dont take one at night so i did for nearly 5 month then i had blood clot in my both lungs so i decided to stop it

  I was taking 10mg 4 times a day along with 2 20mg oxycodine everyday after my spinal surgery.
  i was having a lot of trouble with hallucating and fear i would stop breathing so i struggled to sleep thinking if i closed my eyes i would die. and i would see weird things when i closed my eyes. very addictive and i took a lot off will power to get off them. did help with pain.

• I take Oxynorm and Oxycontin…

  I take Oxynorm and Oxycontin daily for Shingle pain that has not subsided after 7yrs. 40mg of Oxynorm Daily and 40mg Oxycontin daily, depending on pain levels. I found the worse side effect is constipation!  However, if you read the leaflet inside the packet of pills it lists every concievable illness going as a side effect, so I suppose everyone is different. 
  Although these are the only pills I have taken for shingle pain that works, they are exceptionally addictive, especially if you exceed the dose prescribed. If the dose you take is not enough, go back to your doctor/GP and ask them for an opinion.

  my mother was in pain on her side due to arthritis, she is 78 yrs. brought to the doctor for consultation. the pain dont put her to sleep all night. her doctor pescribed her once a day, yes it helps ease the pain and made her sleepy and drowsy, after a week my mother get worsts. she she is been so drowsy always, lost her memory, hallucite, loss her appetite, difficulty in breathing, and more, now my mother is in a critical conditon, her pheumonia was back too. all the side effects I read in this page is in my mother's situation what will I do w/ this

• I take Oxycontin 80mg 2 times…

  I take Oxycontin 80mg 2 times a day and up to 4 oxynorm 10mg due to my back problems the only side effect i get is vomiting . But at lest Ive lost some weight .    I have found they work only for patients in a lot of pain ie if you said 1is good and 10 worst pain ever you would need to be about 6/7 most of the day i know.

  have been taking thirty mill of oxynorm a day for about a year now and have noticed a steady decline in sexual interest have decided to move over to tramadol 100 mill a day and was wondering if this would have the same effect

  i took only 1 tablet of this 10mg and 30min later i was light headed nearly fainted reali hot and was being sick my eyes was blarey and had shortness of breath
