Pantoloc

Started taking Pantoprazole on April 13, 2010. The symptoms listed below started gradually over time. I am age 72 have been active and athletic all my life. Started with joint pain when opening a jar of pickles. Thought I had mild arthrites. Which may be true. Whenever I stressed my muscles and joints I felt pain and it did not go away for several days. After a year of taking Pantoprazole the symptoms became more sever. If I walked to the mail box quickly my legs burned as if I had run 300 yards up a steep hill. If I golfed my muscles were very stiff and I could not obtain proper club head speed. After golf I felt like I had been punched severly. Felt tired each afternoon. Stpped taking Pantoprazole 2 days ago on September 30, 2011. The earliest appointment I could book with my doctor is October 30, 2011.
The way I learned about the symptoms from side effects from Pantoprazole is my wife, Janice, read an article in the Calgary Herald about drug interactions and side effects. I have type II diabetes and I looked up on the internet the side effects of Pantoprazole and to my surprize I had some of the more severe symptoms that are only experienced by 1% of those who take Pantoprazole.
