    I became pregnant after (nearly) two years of using the Paraguard (correctly). It is supposed to have up to ten years of use, and I had exams to check proper placement regularly. It was put in Feb 9 2009. Tested positive on a home PT Dec 17 th 2010. Had the Paraguard removed Dec 20th 2010. Miscarried on Dec 25th 2010.
