Persantin

I have had to cut down on taking persantin due to enlarged veins and bad leg cramps which disturrb my sleep and everyday activities.

since these last 2 days I was introduced with Persantin tablets. after half hour on taking persantin I had headache until I take panadoles after that I felt better and hope I will not experience further side effects.

When I took my first Persantin tablet I felt like blood flashing down my head and afterward a headache escalating until I sleep without taking panadoles but next tablet of persantin I took to panadoles and all went well. I hope they work on me together with panadoles I will let you know further.

i was diagnose for tia 2months ago and admitted to hospital,persantin is one of the medicine that i'm taking but my problem every time take this medicine i feel headache,vomitte and pain at my neck do i take this medicine forever?

My mother took Persantin retard 200mg for the first time last night at 7pm and she was sick, had vomit and diarrhea and a very very bad throbbing thumping headache. Her heart was racing and she felt very unwell during the night.  She wanted to make sure that it was not something else that had caused it and took a second tablet this morning, now a few hours later she is feeling really unwell again. She is unable to stay up and due to the extreme headache is having to sit/lay down.  She is feeling sick and is worried that the little bit of food she had for breakfast will come up. Why is Persantin prescribed - is Asprin not good enough?

My doctor tells me I should stop taking the tabs after six months but another doctor tells me I should continue taking them for life. Which doctor is correct ?

Ask your Doctor for Rosuvastain, (nothing wrong with simvastatin just dont suit everyone and ther'e cheap thats why the Doc tries them first)

i have been inthis drug 5 yrs for a mild tia do i stay on forever please?

how long do i take this drug please?

SEVERE DIARRHOEA SINCE TAKING PERSANTIN AFTER A STROKE :'(

Should i stop taking them? I have blamed the tablets for eight years, for all the problems i am having. I have stopped taking simsivastatin for 2 months i have been on them for over 8 years. I have told the hospital and my doctor i was ok until i started the tablets. I am now waiting for results of memory tests i have had this problem 8 years also. i was given thease tablets after 2 small strokes in (3 weeks) 8 years ago last april. I am 62
