Premarin

I was given 25mg of Premarin IV for uncontrolled uterine bleeding. This was just a few hours after receiving 4 units of blood for extreme blood loss (Hemoglobin 4). The Premarin helped the bleeding but I had severe shortness of breath almost immediately. I was then told to take 4 birth control pills daily until the bleeding stopped completely and then to start reducing the number of bc pills daily until I was down to 1. The shortness of breath continued until that happened.

Premarin cream for vaginal dryness was prescribed and after about two weeks I became depressed and so anxious it was hard for me to do normal daily tasks. After stopping for about one week the anxiety and depression was gone.

I also had insomnia - My body was uncontrollably hot it scared me as I could not sleep - It was so bad that I had panic attacks at night - It felt like my body was on fire and it lasted for more than half an hour - I spent the nights praying and reading my Bible asking for strength from God

I started taking premarin .625 in the late summer.  Shortly after that my back started hurting and i had abdominal pain.  sometimes i even felt nauseated.  i went to the dr and told her i thought i should have a ovary scan because ovarian cancer runs in my family.  i had that and she reported back to me that everything looked good.  then last night i was so depressed and just felt so bad and i was trying to remember what changed when i started feeling like this and it was shortly after i started the premarin. i looked online and i have all of the side effects listed.  now i need to get off and i really don't know how!  anyboy out there just stop cold turkey?  what happen?

Severe back aches , shoulder bone pains.  I have read that there would be an impact on the bones due to Premarin usage.  does someone else have similar experience? . What are the suggestions for the kind of treatment. ?

i had pof. i m taking premarin since last 2 yrs on n off. but during course i xpirience profuse white discharge. is this any serious

Right now I am just shocked that a prescription for vaginal dryness could cost me $112 with my insurance, $150 without.   Who can afford this on a monthly basis?  I know I can't.  Get real!!
