Pritor

Since I have started using the co-pritor for 5 months now I have started experiencing the knee pain could it be the cause of the medication? but it is controlling my BP very well as it measures it to 115/75 most of the time.

I've been taking Pritor (telmisartan or micardis) for about month and a half when I decided to discontinue it on my own account.

The sides were intolerable. I got muscle weakness and muscle pain in places where I had old injuries and even at some random muscles that I never had problems with. I got a strain in my leg and I still can't run and it's almost 2 months from that event.

I hope they withdraw this thing and other similar (ARB and ACE) drugs.

i have a low sex drive and my penis does not get so hard as before.
My blood BP use to be 198/100 now it,s 117-120 over 75-80 have been using the medication for 10 days at 40mg per day

i have been on Ziak 2.5 mg for long> my bloodpressure is not to high but Iam a diabetic and my doctor changed my medicine to pritor 40mg but i am to scared to drink it. will it drop my bloodpressure tremedously?

ADVERSE EFFECTS OF THIS DRUG ARE REALLY SO SCARY! I am supposed to take it in place of amvasc 5mg. due to a slight enlargement of the heart as prescribed by my cardiologit.  However, as it has been my habit to surf the internet before taking any drugs, thank God, I did not all at once took it. I am still on amvasc 5mg. and with the help of daily exercise, more fruits & vegetables on my diet, less meat and fatty foods, and of course with the help of daily prayer, my blood pressure is much better now!

I use Pritor x 80mg once a day - three day now, my BP prior to Pritor was 171/111 - I now experience depression and suicidal thinking!

DOES IT DECREASE YOUR LIBIDO

I just started taking Pritor after taking Micardis.  It is supposed to be the same med telemisartin but pritor seems stonger, my blood pressure has dropped significantly. today after taking it 3 times to make sure what i saw was right, even changed the batteries in the Omron pressure unit.  My blood pressure was first 78/60, the next time it was 92/54.  Normally my blood pressure is right around 114/66 with medication.  I know this is due to taking this new med.  it made me feel so tired and weak that I am taking it at night now so the initial  will be worn off by the AM.
I take 20 mgs of Pritor and was taking the same of MIcardis.  Normally I get my meds in the U.S. thought I'd save a little money by purchasing it from Canadian Drugs online and I thought the med would be Micardis. I do not think I'll ever purchase that stuff again.  So, I probably ought to call my doc, wondered if this lower blood pressure will do any harm.
