    Just had 43 radiation treatments for prostate cancer. The dr. put me on this drug for burning when I unrinated. After I started to take it, I had a hard time going.

    I took pyridium for 5 days and I actually began to feel worse. I then looked online and read that some other people who took pyridium experienced this as well. I did not take another dose after that, and within 24 hours I felt a lot better. I continued to take my antibiotics, but stopping pyridium helped immensely! Make sure to only take it if it works for you!
