    I am worried that my elderly mother does not remember that she has taken her medicine & retakes it.
    I have suggested pill containers that have daily dosage compartments, but she refuses to admit she might need it. So my question is approximately how many QUINAPRIL-HCTZ 20-125 MG would it take to be fatal?

    Took quinapril for several years. About 18 months ago, came down with extreme shortness of breath, followed by a severe dry cough. Saw several doctors and was treated with numerous drugs but nothing helped. Finally I went to emergency room for the cough and was informed that the quinapril was probably the cause. Quinapril was replaced with losartin and within about two to three months cough went completely away. However, shortness of breath acxtually increased in severity. I am now on oxygen. Pulmonary test indicated no lung disease or lung problems at all. I have seen numerous docors and none have diagnosed the problem.
