Requip

I have taken Requip off and on for about 5 years and it makes me tired and very sleepy.
Am to take it twice a day but if I did I coulden't do anything. All I would wan't to do is sleep.
I am on 2mg now and I was on 1mg. I will never take them again. BAD

I have been taking Requip for at least 5-6 yrs now for RLS.Biggest mistake I ever made.Every time I try to stop it it is horrible!I have severe flushing of my face,my BP gets high,nauseated,
my RLS gets worse,can't sleep etcThe emotional turmoill is awful!Feel like crawling out of my skin
hoping I collaspe and end up in the hospital so someone will see how bad it gets.The med is so expensive and I don't have health insurance ant more that I have to get off of it but I'm going to do it slowly.I hope this works.

I took Requip for RLS in 2004. After only 3 days I was in intensive care with Acute Pancreatitis. My doctors immediatley stopped my Requip and after that I have had it six times or more. My pancreas is so damaged I will probably die from this. I am 41 and now have diabetes so bad that insulin in not helping and my neuropathy is out of control. Thought I would never be like this at this young of an age. I am waiting for the right class action to come along. I know there are other people out there like me and one day I will find them. I have been taking requip for RLS for about 2 years. I stay tired all the time and have gained 50 lbs. I have never been heavy in my entire life and I am a69 years old. I also have swelling along the left side of my color bone. along with feeling like I am never rested I wonder if I could have thyroid disorder from the meds. Anyone on requip ever told to have thier thyroid checked or have swelling and tiredness

i have been on requip for almost 3 years now and my life has gone no where but downhill however the physical pain i experience when i dont take it is unbearable, i dont know whats worse emotional, and mental destruction or your body trying to touture you. but i have to choose sometimes i think maybe ill just be in pain and then they'll hopefully hospitalize mean and i wont effect other peoples lives as much. i feel like a monster.

I have been taking Parkinsons drugs for about 18 years. Recently I have noticed that the urge for sex is unusually strong near the weekend, but the most disturbing fact is that after the morning dose of Requip as it begins to take effect frequently it is accomp[anied by unstimulated erection nad the  urge.
Once I have staved off the urge , usuallly by distracting or mastebating, then it is normal during the day.
But then my wife has refused to have sex for about a year complaining that I was hyper sexed but not able to perform as the PD would step in as I would get excited! I do not know which one of the two is causing the increase in urge:

I know someone on requip modutab - since they've been taking it they don't care about anything, why and how can this be - has anyone experience of this. They think its the wonder drug because its helping with their parkinsons they can;t see what;s its doing to them and they dont care
