    Hey. So I just started treatment yesterday. I got my peginterferon shoot and have been eating ribavirin pills. Last night my first symptoms were "flu like" but what i thought was weird was that my lower back all the way to my feet where KILLING me! Could not keep my legs still...they where like growing pains. for about five hours this lasted. My lower back felt like what people told back labor feels like. Is this normal? ! I have geno 2b so im only in 24 weeks of treatment.....so can i expect easier treatment? (REALLY dont want to loose my hair...lol) thanks!

  • Completed course of interferon…

    Completed course of interferon and ribavirn for Hepititis C. Fell pregnant 5 months after completion of treatment and gave birth to a baby boy weighing 7.6 lbs. He has Trisomy 21. He was born with Persisitant Pulmonary hypertension and a VSD. I do not think this is coincidence. Can someone let know if there is anyone who has anything similiar to share about a Ribavirn outcome?

  • 1200mg first month was fine…

    1200mg first month was fine no problems, after that i was negative and feelin fine. then things started to get worst because my red and white blood cell started to fall, plus platletes and hemegloben. I have 48 days to go It's rough but a lot better then the alturnitive. I have most of the side afects and it does get rough at times but only 48 days left, good luck.
