Rifampicin

i've been taking rimactazid --combination of rifampicin (450 mg) and isoniazid (400 mg) for four months now as part of my TB medication. 6 more tablets to go and i'm done. i can't wait to have my annual x-ray to check if my 6-month long TB medication really works. i've taken rimactazid after my hysterectomy which has resulted to my early menopause. during this period, i've been feeling sluggish. my skin has started to become dry and rough. i've had all sort of symptoms related to menopause that make me feel awful. i don't know if the anti-TB meds have aggravated my condition.

i tried to keep myself productive and before i knew it, six months have passed. everything passes, indeed.

I am a filpino 57yrs old i was diagnosed with tubercolosis and give me a quadtab meaning 4 medicine in 1 tablets that include rifampicin,isonamid,ethambutol and pyramacine...all of the side effects of those medicine has hit me very badly,i have a gout atrithis,after 3 mo of taking that medicine i suffer so much pain during the 3 mo theraphy treatment,my uric acid jump to double the maximum from 7 max into 14 thats why all pain killer i took is useless,so i decided to stop for a while and take allupurinol to lower my uric acid then maybe i'll decide to continue taking the medine again but i think i have to shift to other medicine. ITS SO BAD EXPERIENCE! IF SOMEBODY TAKING MEDICINE FOR THE TREAMENT OF DECEASE ,THE PATIENT SHOULD FEEL BETTER NOT WORST!!!!
