Ropinirole

I just started on this drug for RLS and am soooo tired through the day. Does this go away or will I always have this side-effect. Is there another drug that I can take instead?

My father recently passed away due to the side affects of Ropinirole his 3rd attempt suicide was successful.
He displayed psychotic behaviour 3 weeks before his death,the family were never told of the possible affects that Ropinirole could cause we are now seeking legal advice.

Put on Ropinirole for severe Restless Leg Syndrome. Initially on 0.25mg/day increased to 0.5mg/day. As there was still no relief recently increased to 1.0mg/day. My blood pressure has gone up from 115/70 mmHg to 162/102 mmHg! Severe night sweats, GORD & nausea as well. The symptoms of RLS has considerably improved but I have a constant headache & tiredness due to hypertension. Will stop Ropinirole soon as sleepless nights due to RLS seem easier to tolerate.

I have recently become a compulsive gambler at 70.  I started ropinirole recently as well. Read of some others that have experienced this.  Has anyone else out there dealt with this issue?

I am Requip for Restless Legs. I take 2mg before bed. I am having night sweats but only from my neck up. My hair stays wet throught out the night. Has anyone else had this side effect? No nausea, dizziness, etc.

severe nausea, unbearable. i can bear the restless leg better than the nausea.
