Salazopyrin

Im taking 2x2 500mg Salazopyrine ( Ankylosing Spondylitis patient )
Dizziness, nausea, tinnitus, balance problems are making me feel terrible!
In my language (Turkish): Denge problemleri, kulak cinlamasi, bulanti cok kotu hissediyorum kendimi. Ankilozan spondilit hastasiyim. Sabah 2 Aksam 2 tablet Salazopyrine aliyorum.

headaches constantly and severe aching in my right side,a ultra scan did not reveal anything but the pain is alwasy there,making me feel uncomfortable :(

It was prescribed to me by a Rheumatologist because I have knee and joint problems that would require excess fluid build-up in my right Knee especially! The side affects I underwent were terrible to say the least!! I lost all appetite, lost about twenty pounds over the coarse of a year, and was very small to start with I always was 135lbs since I was a teen. Now I weigh 112lbs. I was unable to hold down any fluids,foods,I could not urinate,or the other.It is very hard to get a follow up apps with this Dr. but I can see my Family Doctor rather often. I saw him last week and told Him I will not go to this Dr. ANYMORE!! Since I Stopped taking the drug.Everything is coming back to normal. I highly recommend that before you take this med.Do your Homework First. I only wish I had done mine. I was on this Drug for one and a half years. Now I am sure to recover and get my life back. All that time I was in Misery,I can't get that time back. I just one day not long ago to stop the med, I am thankful I did as I was close to death and malnourished

Vær OBS!! jeg brukte salszopyrin 500mg x2 morgen og kveld over flere år, dette resulterte i nyresvikt og nyretransplantasjon med påfølgende bruk av ennå mer medikamenter.

Yes, I think you're right as I have been told that this med is killing a lot of my white blood cells so therefore have no resistance. Your doc should give you a blood test. Good luck

i took them for a while and ears somtimes keep hearing  a whistleing sound when i told the doctor he sent me to ear doctor anyone with the same effect?

I'm taking Salazopyrin EN 500mg (2 tablets in the morning and 2 in the evening) for the treatment of ulcerative colitis. I have experienced unexplained high fever, aches and pains in my neck, pain behind my eyes and I'm feeling nauseous. The doctors keep telling me that it's just a virus but in the past, I would only get sick once a year during winter. This is not normal for me. Does Salazopyrin supress the immune system and that is why I'm getting sick all the time? Can I expect this to happen from now on? Any feedback would be welcomed.
