I have taken Septra successfully…
I have taken Septra successfully for 20 years to combat frequent UTIs. It has been wonderfully effective for me. However, I took it a month ago and experienced anaphylactic shock 10 minutes after taking my first dose. I have never had an allergic reaction before. I had to go to the emergency room and they tell me I might have died. I do not know why I am now allergic to this medication. But it was a frightening experience.
