Seroquel

I am having the same experience. I also had been taking Seroquel for about 2 weeks when I began to lose my voice. I am researching today because my laryngitis is practically 100% today.

Yes, seroquel can cause blackouts. The first and only time I took it I blacked out for 2 hours. I apparently fell several times as I was bruised everywhere and my dining room table was knocked over.

I think Seroquel XR is better for people who have headaches than Abilify,Geodon and Zyprexa but Seroquel XR can cause severe headaches.

I also had to raise my arms up and down behind my head in order to adjust the top of my neck.

I use Bactine liquid for my neck pain underneath my hair. :)

I also had to increase the weight for my pendulum exercises to make easier to adjust my shoulder. :)

After taking Seroquel for about two weeks, I came down with quite serious laryngitis. I've had it for about a week and it is not getting any better. I don't have a cold or sore throat and can't think of any other reason for this. Could this be caused by Seroquel? (I am a businessman that needs to talk a lot, but can barly whisper!~)

Doing range of motion exercises on the neck with the head is an excellent way of treating cronic insomonia. >:o O:-)

MSM and triple antibiotic oinment work well togather for neck pain.

I was also having cronic or constant neck pain while on seroquel and I just learned that Agrisept-L works for the neck pain, and it only took a few doses.I also started taking Potassium and Colostrum.

Raising your arms above your head might even work better when your laying down, I was laying down in bed and I was able to adjust my lower back by pushing my left hip foward a few times. 

You can also use Biotin for neck pain or maybe for headaches too.

You can also raise your arms above and behind your head and push your neck or belly or shoulders forward to relieve pain and help with sleeping problems.

I was taking Seroquel and having severe headaches but I was also having pain between my shoulder blade and my backbone and I had to learn to correct that problem by crossing my arms over my head and pushing out my chest.

I needed antibiotics on my muscles and there was no visable infection while I was taking seroquel and then later I use antibiotics and it worked better than anything else on my muscles.  

I was on 200 mg of Seroquel for 4 years. At first it worked great, I guess by just knocking me out, it made me very hungry. I gained close to 20 lbs.  But I was willing to live with that to get some relief from Bipolar and several other anxiety disorders.  The last year I took it was the worst, I began to develop "ticks" in my face and extremities, my mood turned to rage, my chest began to hurt all the time, when I stood up my heart would pound, & I would almost pass out. One night, I took it as usal and within an hour my heart started to pound UNCONTOLLABLY, and irregularly.  I had the WORST panic attack I have ever had. I got extremely restless and had to walk. HAD to walk. (it may sound wierd, but I had the overwhelming urge to walk) Went to ER and found out that I now have a rare electrical block in heart. I am 26 years old. Never had any problems except bipolar. Now I am on depakote which has changed my life completly. I believe Seroquel is a VERY dangerous drug and the public was lied to about the serious side effects this drug MAY have on some people.

I think we can fight back with sleeping pills and muscle relaxants and analgesic gel and phyisical therapy and check out my medication list.

I started having severe headaches after a few years and I did have to go to a physical therapist.

i hv been on seroquel and lexapro for 9 months now. it helps me to sleep by warding off negative thoughts and relaxing me. for first 3 months, i can not drive because i feel so sleepy when im content. actually driing naturally relaxing for me. so, after 3 months i can go to work at 7.10 am and focus enuf taht im improwing.

Seroquel had a dramatic and positive effect on my anxiety and panic disorder.  It has actually changed my life.  All Rxs don't work the same for all people, but I've been treated for anxiety for the last 10+ years and 2 years ago a regimine of 25mg of Seroquel and 20mg of Lexapro has returned my life to me!  Very little if any side effects... some pitting edema in lower extremities and slight constipation.  High recommended to others...

I Believe Seroquel killed my husband. He tried to get help with depression and suiside and seroquel made him worse. I totally believe this awful drug killed him and he was only 45. I miss him terribly and hope I can help to keep suiside patients off of this horrible drug
