Sotret

I have stopped using sotret some 6-8 months back. But from there am experiencing severe itching with rashes all over my body and also my skin has become so weak . Could you please help me with any other medication to reduce this . How long i have to live with these side effects . Please help me out

Kamal, discontinue the drug if your case of acne is not serious. Sotret was banned in the US some years ago. It has caused a lot of problems for a lot of people. Since I took Sotret many years ago, I have atleast come across one person whose sister's liver or kidney was damaged and she still hasn't recovered. I would seek other routes to cure your acne: changes in diet, emotional health, try Retin A for topical use. I am learning that a lot of these drugs do irreparable damage to a lot of people. I am feeling better now after I has posted on this site. I sure did suffer. Stop it. I hope you get the gist.

I am taking sotret 20 mg. from last 4 days i am feeling headaches and burning eyes, Pls suggest me i continue or discontinue this durg

Is there any doctor out there who can help? I will greatly appreciate it. I have been living with the side effects for over a year and it seems like my condition is deteorating. Help.
I have symptoms that are listed in the comprehensive side effects listed below on the same webpage. For example: activities of daily living impaired - greatly. I can barely do anything properly now, from talking, reading, sometimes writing, working, can't drive, etc.

I took sotret with Minoz for 2 and half months. Life has been a downward slide ever since.Headaches, sensations in the head, abnormal thoughts, pretty much have become an invalid and can't do anything well. Couldn't get out of bed and stayed in because couldn't get over the feeling of sensations in the head. can't drive, do things like assembling a workout exercise machine, etc. can't walk through market streets without great effort. problem with talking, etc.

I was prescribed Sotret with a monocycline.
