Synthroid

I have beenon Synthroid for about 6 months every 6 to 8 weeks they adjust the dosage. I am on 125 now I have been on this dosage for 30 days and i still have a upset stomach. Is this normal

I have been on Synthroid for over a year I had subtotal thyroid removed the side effect of Synthroid are :palpitation on the lower part of my throat,chest thightness,increased hear rate hot flashes head ackes and I am nervous I am thinking of swithing to natural dessicated pigs glands med and hope it will work and yes my specialist lets me have a HST test only and says it is ok? figure

upper arm tightness/soreness in both arms - could this be the result on an increased dosage of synthroid?

I had a thyroidectomy in 1984 at the age of 29 and have been on synthroid since. I really haven't had that many issues except I believe my dosage should be higher. 3 months ago I had a heart attack. I now have thickening of the tongue and tingling of my tongue and feelings of "swoosh" when I turn my head. I am on lipitor, efficient, ramipril, potasium, aspirin and toprol. For 27 years I was always told to take my synthroid first thing in the morning. Do not eat or take any other meds for at least an hour after taking and have always followed those instructions. Now both cardiologoists say it does not matter and to take all of my meds together.....are the other meds interacting wrong with my synthroid?

I have been taking Synthroid for 6 months.  I have been experiencing numbness in the face  and arms.  I have alos had neck pain.  Have also had bouts of anxiety.  My nos e is cold and feels funny when I breathe.

I starting taking Synthroid 2 days ago. Today I began having muscle spasms in my neck and shoulder and lower back.

I'm being treated for hypothyroidism with synthroid. I'm also being treated for hypertension, high cholesteral and depression. After reading about hypothyroidism I'm more confused than ever about all of my problems mentioned. My last blood draw for TSH, 3rd generation read 6.30. what does 3rd generation mean. I'm concerned that synthroid can cause liver damage. I've been on thyroid for several years. I'm 69 yrs. old. Can you shed some light on this? My primary physician is an Internist. Should I see an Endocronologist (sp) ?
