Tekturna

I have been on tekturna for 3 years and came to this site searching teeth discoloration. My teeth have turned a pale champagne color and used to be white. Plus I have neck, back, arm and leg pain and numbness. I have a bad back but with chiropractic and massage have alleviated all those symptoms until now. Very interesting. So glad I found this site. I am doing further research and contacting my doctor.

I went into anaphylactic shock on 9/12/2011 after taking tekturna HCT 300/12.5 for 11 months. Internists suspects the Tekturna. Anyone else have this severe of a reaction?

I was taking tekturna for about 18 months. First I was on 150 hct and it did nothing. Then my Dr put me on 300/25 hct. I did not have any noticable side effects until about 18 months after being on it. The side effects are terrible or were terrible and it didn't seem to lower my pressure either. The muscles in my legs and feet were unbearable. Could hardly walk. I had bad dizzy spells and sick stomach. I got to where I could not even think clearly anymore so I took myself off. At first I went back to the 150/12 hct and did feel some better but not enough emprovement to keep taking it. After being off of it for about 2 months now, all my side effects are gone and I feel like my old self again. I started taking 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon each morning and now my pressure is down to 120/70. Can't say for sure that the cinnamon is doing it. I would not take this medicine if you start to have these side effects. It has not been out long enough to really know if it is really safe to use

since tqaking tekturna I have gain weight and I have ED due to tekturna. I have mucus in my throat when I wake up in the morning. I need help I hate a mediation take can end your marriage.  

After taking it for almost two months, i developed a severe rash, arms, legs, front and back, stopped taking it and it's slowly going away, I was not taking any other medication at the time.

I am having severe stomach, chest discomfort plus pain in intestines,   Headach. dizzy feeling and  ear and face numbness.   Sunday was freezing cold.  i have been on clonidine for about 8 months and Dr. switched me to tekturna 3 days ago and gradually reducing the clonidine.  I hate blood pressure meds.  all make me ill. Wish there was help for non-side affects alternative

I too am on Tekturna and have a burning tongue sensation and metallic like taste in my mouth plus lesions on my tongue.  Try checking out the term Burning tongue Syndrome or Burning mouth syndrome on the internet and go to your doctor.

i have been on texturna for about eight months and have also developed a matalic taste AND WHITE PLACES IN MY MOUTH.

after i started taking it i frist started out with tekturna/htc150 mg  i felt like my whole world was fake and i couldnt concentrate.. my dr then switched me to just pain tekturna and i felt better but now i have spouts where i feel like i am going to pass out/ kinda dizzy/ in a fake world and cant concentrate.. its horrible. i also have issues with brite lights. i also take norvasc and toprol xl. recently found out i am now anemic so i take some iron and b12 pills but still dont feel any  better. lately i also am not as hungry for things i usually would crave..

I have taken this drug for 3 years.  I have developed a salty metalic taste on my teeth.  I don't take other medications.  I have seen 3 dentist, no one can figure out the cause.  Could it be this medication?

large bulleous,ozzing,itching eruptions all over my body. could not breath lying down.
